Primary Immune Deficiency Foundation of New Jersey (PIDFNJ) started post-COVID in 2022 as the South Jersey Immune Deficiency Support Facebook Group. The group formed by Meg Carter, at the advice of Dr. John Kim, who noticed several South Jersey individuals living with Primary Immune Deficiency needed information and camaraderie. With the monetary support of Nufactor, Inc., a local infusion company, a group of individuals began meeting semi-regularly. Meeting allowed members of the group living with Primary Immune Deficiency to feel less isolated, learn about their deficiency, and promote awareness.

April 2025, PIDFNJ was born as an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 

  The group is very welcoming to new members, especially to those who are recently diagnosed and feeling scared and overwhelmed. Join us today!
